Soaring a mile high above the majestic Andes mountains of Argentina, the condor sparked the imagination of the ancient Incas who believed it to be a messenger from the Sun god. An ancient myth tells of the condor lifting the sun into the sky and returning it safely to a sacred mountain lake each night.

The vineyards are located in one of the prime wine regions in Mendoza at an elevation of 2,600 feet. The vines are between 15 and 60 years old.
